A piece of jewellery can be just an adornment, or it can be much more. It can be art, an expression of the personality of the individual wearing it, a symbol of a moment of happiness, or of a cherished memory of a loved one. That is why goldsmithing is such an old profession, because it meets a need we have as human beings.
I grew up amidst tools and precious stones: when I got out of school in the afternoons, I loved going to my father’s shop and watching his hands work while he taught me about the metals and the gemstones.
Soon I started to sit beside him to make my first pieces. He was the best teacher and showed me the techniques and secrets of this ancient trade. Above all, however, he transmitted his professional ethics and his love for well-made things that last forever.

He is no longer with us, but to this day old clients of my father tell me that they still have pieces of jewellery made by him, and that is something that profoundly moves me.

Although I was good at it, I never thought this was how I would be making my living. I was too restless, a boy who wanted to do a million things, see every country, read every book.
I had no patience for spending long hours doing the same thing. I was interested in so many different things.
So, in my youth, my studies varied wildly: I studied photography, chemistry, design, history, art, and more. I abandoned goldsmithing for years, becoming a jack of all trades but master of none.
But one day, I realised that everything I had learned could be applied to this work, that this knowledge could be a basis and inspiration to make creations in jewellery.
My passion for history led to the creation of the Antiques collection, made using historical artefacts.
My interest in art led to contemporary jewellery whose design was inspired by Kandinski paintings, Kubrick films, and Norman Foster buildings, among others.
he cities and countries I saw provided me with shapes and concepts I would later incorporate into my work. I realised that after all those years wandering, I had found my path and my language.
And I also saw how anything worthwhile takes time and patience.

I was then lucky enough to met Paula, who I’m now proud to call my wife. She’s a woman who is passionate about art and design, and her personal vision enormously enriched the work in the entire creative process. Since then, we have been a team whose ideas complement one another brilliantly. Together we opened our first workshop and store in Serra de Outes in 2001.
Many people were—and still are—surprised that we chose such a small town to open a jewellery shop like this one, but we were confident in our work and we liked living in this beautiful place, nestled between the sea and the mountains.
Besides that, we somehow knew that the world was going to change, that distances would mean less and less, and that we could reach people in other areas if we did something extraordinary and offered exquisite customer service.
The Setting in Serra de Outes
Time proved us right: besides our neighbours in this tiny place, in a few years clients started coming from farther away, not minding the journey because they liked our work.
Then came the Internet, which allowed us to reach the rest of the country and the whole planet. Today, our pieces are sold online to clients in all of Spain, as well as abroad in countries like New Zealand, the United States, Germany, and many more.
Now, after many years of experience working with clients online, we are very proud to offer top-tier service even if the client is hundreds of kilometres away, without ever betraying their trust.
And that’s how we’ve grown, little by little Over the last few years, we’ve had some amazing things happen to us: seeing celebrities wear our jewellery, showcasing our work in national museums, winning awards, etc. But the most beautiful thing, undoubtedly, is that every day people choose us to express their deepest emotions through our creations.
We firmly believe that craftsmanship is culture and that true luxury lies not in the price of a piece but in the fact that it is a one-of-a-kind in a world where everything is mass produced. We believe in the extraordinary, in the exceptional, in a piece that is hand-crafted with care, time, and dedication using high-quality materials to ensure that it will last forever.
