A pendant with an ancient arrow from the Antiquities Collection was acquired by Pinewood Studios in Cardiff (UK) for the TV series A Discovery of Witches. It’s worn by actress Teresa Palmer, who plays the protagonist, and the piece of jewelery actually has an active role in the story. It is a gold pendant featuring a Greek arrow from between the 2nd century and 4th century BC.
In the fictional series, the pendant is a wedding gift that Diana Bishop is given by her father-in-law, Phillipe de Clermont, played by the well-known British actor James Purefoy. No spoilers, but we know that in future seasons of the show, the pendant will play a major role. The TV series, based on the literary trilogy All Souls from Deborah Harkness, will be shown in Spain on Movistar Plus.
