Wabi-Sabi Bracelet with Branch and Diamond

The traditional Japanese Wabi-Sabi aesthetic seeks the natural beauty of imperfection, of what has lived and felt the passage of time. Some of the principles it is based on — and which we follow in creating these pieces — are:

Fukinsei: asymmetry, irregularity

Kanso: simplicity

Koko: minimalism

Shizen: naturalness (without pretense)

Yugen: subtle, understated beauty

Each of these pendants is crafted by melting, hammering and shaping a gold nugget, so that the piece takes on the form given to it by the craftsman, whilst allowing the metal a certain freedom to flow organically; as a result, every piece is completely unique and one-of-a-kind.
