Wabi-Sabi Pendant with Branch and Diamond

18K Gold Pendant in Wabi-Sabi Style. The traditional Japanese Wabi-Sabi aesthetic seeks the natural beauty of imperfection—of things that have lived and felt the passage of time. Some of the principles it is based on, which we follow to create these pieces, include:

Fukinsei: asymmetry, irregularities

Kanso: simplicity

Koko: minimalism

Shizen: unpretentiousness

Yugen: subtle, discreet beauty.

Each of these pendants is crafted by melting, hammering and shaping a gold nugget, so that the piece takes on the form given to it by the craftsman, whilst allowing the metal a certain freedom to flow organically; as a result, every piece is completely unique and one-of-a-kind.
