High Line Necklace with Lapis Lazuli

18k yellow gold necklace from the High Line Collection featuring hand-carved natural lapis lazuli.

During a trip to Manhattan, we fell in love with de High Line, the park built on the former elevated railway that ran through the eastern part of the city. For decades, this railway ws abandoned and covered by wild vegetation. 

When it was on the verge of being demolished, the initiative of a group of citizens and patrons succeeded in turning it into a beautiful walkway 10 meter above ground level, offering a different perspective of the city. It's a lesson in the importance of giving things a second chance. 

This collection, handcrated with 18K recycled gold, is inspired by the shapes and lines of the High Line Park and pays tribute to New York City's ability to reinvent itself. 

Stone dimensions: 18 x 2.5 mm.
