Gold Pendant with Medieval Coin
This 18k gold pendant sets a genuine billon denarius minted at France between years 1285 and 1314 AD. Philip IV was one of the most important and admired kings of medieval France.
Billon was a alloy of copper and silver. The coin shows a cross with the name of Philippus on one side and a throne on the other one.
