This necklace, handmade in 18K gold, sets a mounted Hispano-Arabic medieval silver coin. It is an Almoravid quirate, a small coin minted between the years 1086-1147. This coins circulated by the Iberian Peninsula and North Africa in the Middle Ages. One side bears a religious prayer, while the other side features a political text.
