Gold Pendant with Medieval Coin

18K gold pendant features a silver denarius coined by Abd Al-Rahman II in the emirate of Córdoba in the year 822 AD. Abd Al-Rahman II served as the fourth Umayyad emir from that year until 852 AD.

One side of the coin bears a religious prayer, while the other side features a political text.

Coin diameter: 23 mm.

We have designed and handcrafted for it a solid 18K gold setting that protects and embellishes it, and converts this coin in a unique jewel, more than 1200 years after it was made. It is accompanied by a Certificate of Auhtenticity. All our antiques are genuine, we never use replicas.
