This handmade 18K gold bracelet features a Hispano-Arabic medieval silver coin. It is an Almoravid qirate, a small coin minted between 1086 and 1147 AD. These coins circulated throughout the Iberian Peninsula and North Africa—even years after the Reconquista—because their high silver quality was widely recognized.
One side bears a religious inscription, while the other contains a political text.
In our workshop, we have crafted a handmade 18K gold setting that both protects and enhances the coin, giving it a new life more than 1,000 years after it was created.
Diameter of the coin (silver qirate): 10 mm
Length: Fits a wrist circumference of 14–16 cm. The bracelet has adjustable links at the end and can be shortened or lengthened upon request. We will contact you to confirm the exact size.
