Gold Bracelet with Ancient Japanese Coin
Gold Bracelet with an Authentic Japanese Coin Over 150 Years Old. The coin is made of gold and was minted between 1868 and 1869, during the Meiji Era, the time of the last samurai. This was a highly complex period in Japanese history, as traditional feudal conceptions clashed with ideas advocating for the urgent modernization of the country.
One side of the coin features paulownia flowers, imperial symbols, and the coin's denomination: 2 Bu Kin. On the other side, the signature of the official responsible for the coin’s minting is displayed. Its condition is excellent, and the accompanying certificate provides a complete description.
In our workshop, we handcrafted a beautiful solid gold setting to protect the coin and enhance its beauty, turning it into a unique piece of jewelry more than 150 years later. Our antiques are always genuine, never replicas, and come with a certificate of authenticity.
