Gold Ring with Ancient Roman Seal
This ring bears a carnelian carved seal that is dated between the 2nd and 3rd centuries AD. and represents the goddess Venus. This type of intaglios were widely used at the time to seal documents or objects, leaving the figure engraved on wax or clay.

Thus we link our work to that of the craftsman who made it in that remote time. It can be used today to seal documents, letters, invitations, etc. with wax.
