This pendant bears a genuine ancient Greek silver tetradrachm which was minted in Athens, dated between years 420 and 404 BC.
On one side, it features the figure of an owl, which was the symbol of the city. This animal represented wisdom and strength, and it was also considered a bearer of good luck. Beside it appears an olive branch and three Greek letters that stand for ATE (for Athens). On the other side is Athena, the patron goddess of the city. It comes with its certificate of authenticity, and its state of preservation is excellent.
In our workshop, we have handcrafted a beautiful 18K gold setting to protect and enhance its beauty, transforming it into a unique piece of jewelry more than 2,400 years after it was created.
